Generating Scheme - Nuclear Power

Nuclear Power seems to be every country's or many politicians have in mind.

WHY??
  • Nuclear Power emits very low amounts of Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
  • This technology is readily available, it does not have to be developed first.
  • It's possible to generate a huge amount of electricity in one single plant

However,,...

  • Nuclear Power Plants has a radioactive waste that are harmful to the people and the dispossal of the waste is still unsolved.
  • It is expensive to build and takes a lot of time to be built
  • It uses Uranium, and its supply is estimated to last only for the next 30 to 60 years depending on the actual demand.

Hello! This is dan! This is what we did today we tested the potato if it has an electricity and the answer is yes. We stick one copper nail and one steel nail inside the potato with the heads up. Then we get a digital multimeter to measure how many millivolts it has. If you want to know more click on this one and try it yourself as well.

Thnx!

New Post

Hi this is Dan Baterina and this is my first blog.

This is the my 4th week here at Unitec and I'm studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I have learned lots of things in our theory class in the past few weeks like solving triangles, force, vortex, conversions and a lot more, which can help me in the future.
We also did an 4 exercises in hand skills, on what tools we need to use and how to use it, we drill different diameter of holes in a piece of 10mm steel and also in a thin plate and put the together.
I also leaned how to solder and it is hard at first but once you get use to it, it is easy.

I will post some pictures in my next blog and thank you for reading my blog.
